Spanish piano virtuoso Pedro Carbone performs live Isaac Albeniz's complete Iberia. This is the only live video recording ever made of what is arguably the most complex set of pieces ever written for piano. Compare to de Larrocha version.

Anyone heard Marc-André Hamelin play Albéniz? Totally different interpretation and the only recording I've ever been able to find. It's great to hear this guy do it slower and with just as much interest, gives me some hope:P
Heard him play all 4 books of Iberia live in Philly. An AMAZING pianist, but wasn't terribly Spanish in character...I like this performance better..Check out Alicia De Larrocha as well!
Eh...what about Alicia De Larrocha? I will say he's good he doesn't play it superfast. Even though there's some insecurities and struggles (who won't?), I find his character and tempo very consistent.

I wish I can listen the "complete"...some of them are missing..
4 books of Iberia,
Of course, not written for average human to play lol
