Even after spending years on a chain and being ignored, this beautiful girl still has such love and trust and devotion, that it will take your breath away. Destiny gave birth to a litter of pups outside on one of the coldest nights this winter. Thankfully, due to the intuition of one of our volunteers, Destiny and her pups were rescued just in time. And even though she was about frozen and scared, Destiny let us reach right in and rescue her and her babies from the cold dog house. She knew they were going to a better place.

Askall- - you r so right - my comment after training k9's over 22years it's 90% mean-stupid humans that inter breed and over breed and mistreating k9's that make k9's mean.

Herein lies the biggest problem for animals in shelters - rental housing that does not allow pets. I know you well enough to know that you would be a amazing pet "owner", as would thousands all over our continent. So many lovely animals are destroyed every day when housing was all they needed. But housing is denied in too many rentals. Property damage? Party-goers destroy MORE property than any animals have.

I could see in about 2 seconds that she was a sweet mamma girl and would make a wonderful pet.
Unfortunately right now I cannot help; I"m not allowed dogs at my apartment. But I hope DD gets a forever home very soon, with the loving guardians she deserves.
