  • I think it is a 5 or 6 mm punch.

  • Thank you so much for the excellent video.Mine is an A-Class but hopefully much the same.

Did the new bolts come with the rotor/disc as there is no manual so information is hard to come by.

I don't think Mercedes encourage you to do jobs yourself.

    Kind regards

    Ken (UK)

  • @Chippychap Hi, The bots you have to buy seperately, This is essential to replace them since they have locktite on the tips. I dont know the Torque value but no - one is strong enough to break them with normal tools. there are German manuals available on the net.

  • I need to replace front brake pads on a 2006 C280 4Matic. Is the procedure the same as in this Mercedes? What about the wear sensors? How do I replace them?

  • @avt1889

The procedure is the same, about the sensor, there is only one used I think on the left front wheel. I replaced them also, it will show itself very straight forward.

  • how much for new rotors? i have the same car in usa

  • @4jiggy1

The wole set front and rear new rotors, pads, bolt around 600 euro.
