  • 2:12 ad triclinium ..... not "traiclinum"

  • Why do you pronounce it "traiclinium"? I thought A is always A, not a composition of two sounds, like in English..

  • I'm interested in learning to understand Latin and I'm finding these tutorials quite good. I'm surprised though that Latin doesn't seem to have any definite articles.
