@UaeDevil001 No that was the local IP for hes time capsule, he's IP is visible later in the video when he got he's mac connected to the capsule and the set up for the capsule was done.

well obviously you can connect when you're on your own network. what do you do to connect to your network when you're at, let's say, Starbucks. All you have is a MBP and a time capsule.

hey i did it and while i was on the network was working perfectly, but i when to another place and tried and not working here..

brah you didn't blur it you just put a youtube dialog box over it that you can easily close out and still be able to read the ip

do u have any idea how to make a network with time capsule on xp,i have been trying to do this setup on my two lap top having xp and vista but no luck,bottom line is bothe computers detects the capsule but cannt connect ,help me if u can

@kamikim1 It should automatically create a network. To modify the settings, install Apple's program for Airport on your XP (or vista) machine. You may need to plug your computer into the Time Capsule with a LAN Cable.

Do you have to be on the same network as the time capsule or is there a way to do it anywhere?
