@Maxxarcade wow your right - i didn't realise it was show me love. it sounds so different from the orignal recording - i like it.
Great turntable too and great sound!

@lineartechbd1600 I think it has aluminum top, sides, cover, but a plastic or steel bottom plate. It's not machined out of a solid block or anything.
Did your user name come from LinearTech amplifiers by chance?

is the deck on this table solid aluminum or some kind of aluminum veneer?

I LOVE that turntable...good aftermarket tonearm, built like a tank and probably sounds tremendous (and weighs it too). Is that the one you use with your integrated tube amp?

@vantageIIx As far as I know, the tone arm is original. Right now this table is awaiting restoration.
The table that I use with the tube amp is a Technics SL-1600MK2 with an Audio Technica AT440MLa cartridge. Preamp is a Bellari VP129 with an Amperex "Bugle Boy" 12AX7 tube.

@Maxxarcade My best luck to you! i would love to have an older turntable that really came from that day in age. im not even old enough to have owned it new. i just really appreciate that antique type machine.

@Honker103 Ya, they don't make things like they used to! I miss the days when everything was made with metal, and had lots of character. Look at old cars for example.
