@Tabbyluigi Exactly like how they recorded Pug with a Lead Guitar, a Keyboard, and Drums, yet the live version if Pug is Lead Guitar, Rhythm Guitar, Base Guitar, and Heavy Drums.

kinda like how live ava adore sounds nearly nothing like studio ava adore. they played owata in philly the other night, it was amazing

this is so cool. i do enjoy the studio version, but i feel this is superior. still, you've gotta be prepared for things like this when you love billy!
-
i like having both the awesome rock live version and synthesesised album version, their both good

One of the best things about this appearing on TBK is that hopefully it means tracks like As Rome Burns and 99 Floors may also make an appearance!

Mikey.....Dude you fuckin rock!! Living the dream one beat at a time. :D)

@masonmcg Not really it still has the pumpkins feel and its awesome.I take it you didnt like ADORE thtas your prob

compare it to the studio, almost all of Adore or their electronic stuff is converted when played live. Its sort of like Billy creates an Alpha and Omega of every song, so essentially this makes sense as to what hes doing with the album and its material. I'm still not a big fan of this song in any version, but I've grown to like all versions a little more with additional listens.

Actually I've come to realize that this is kind of standard for Pumpkins, their live material has always seemed to have a much more rock oriented edge to it, tending to forget about the more interesting elements in songs. With several songs hear they've created studio versions based on all the elements of music using synths and keyboards, while live they perform with the simple 4 piece set and don't go overboard. It isn't just for Teargarden though, look at Ava Adore from this performance and

why couldn't the album version be more like this. this was the best point in the evolution of this song over the years. it has now been forever solidified into synthesized garbage.

@masonmcg You're entitled to your opinion. But it wont be forever solidified. Billy said there will be all kinds of changes in the songs with the final boxset. And you should realize by now that this is the sound of TBK. I'm not surprised that it has synth. Most of the recent songs do. Also, you'll always have this video to watch. So if you hate the album version, just listen to this :D It is a lot better.

@Brown86Town i shouldn't call it garbage, because it isn't terrible. songs like freak and song for a son still have their guitar edge in the studio versions on TBK, so there isn't really an expectation for all songs to go the stitch in time-synth route. oh well, you can't please evryone. it just makes me appreciate your video even more. thanks for hosting it :) i'm gonna go download my free owata track now, and maybe after 20 listens, i'll actually learn to love it.....LOL

@masonmcg You're very welcome. It's actually starting to grow on me :D I don't think I'll ever like it as much as the live versions, though. Especially the Chris Issac one.
