This video shows one way in which you can complete a special patch farming run while doing your allotment run.
As this will be done during an allotment run, please check my allotment running guide by following this link if you need more information about that part of the guide:

An extras run involves planting a few extra patches during an allotment run in order to get more experience and money. If you like, you can simply do these patches on their own if you want to, without doing an allotment run. The patches shown are the mushroom, cactus and belladonna patches.
Mushroom patch: Level 53 Farming and found to the west of Canifis. Requires completion of the quest Priest In Peril. Need 1 mushroom spore to plant. Best methods to get here are to use the ring of slaying to teleport to the Slayer Tower, use the Fairy Ring code C-K-S or use a Canifis (Kharyrll) teleport on the Ancient spellbook or Canifis portal in your house.
Cactus patch: Level 55 Farming and found north-east of Al Kharid. Need 1 cactus seed to plant. Best methods to get here are to use the ring of duelling to teleport to the Duel Arena or the glory amulet to teleport to Al Kharid.
Belladonna patch: Level 63 Farming and found to the west inside the Draynor Manor estate. Requires gloves to be equipped in order to pick the nightshade, otherwise you will hurt yourself with poison damage (some gloves will not work). Need 1 belladonna seed to plant. Best methods to get here are to use the Explorer's Ring 3/4 cabbage teleport or the glory amulet teleport to Draynor Village.

It's advised to use supercompost for all of these patches as you will gain quite a bit of experience while doing them and generally make your money back easily. While training farming, it's recommended to do this run once a day with your allotment/herb run to get a little bit more money back from farming.
None of these patches can be protected by farmers, so if you plant them you are completely taking a chance that they will survive but the seeds are very inexpensive so there isn't much harm in doing these patches without any protection.
---------------------------------------------------
To get to each patch, there are some ways to go about it. I won't go through every possibility, but you can use many various teleports to get around such as the balloon network, fairy rings, spirit trees, teleports, chipped teletabs, and so on. My general recommended teleports are shown in the video.

Is it worth the time to do these?

@xsonicbladex If you're mainly doing farming, then this should only take approx 2-3 minutes extra for about 1k xp. Up to you.
