Private car drivers get away with way too much, & are heavily subsidised by the rest. I'd like to see the end of free on street parking. Introduction of a realistic petrol tax, double the current rate perhaps, much stricter enforcement of parking fines, an annual driving test. Oh & a 40 mile an hour motor way speed limit, twenty in town. The true cost of motoring is not taken into account because of the propaganda of multinational oil & car companies. Wardens are heroes. Drivers are selfish.

Traffic wardens are mosly immigrants with little or no grasp of the english language, they get satisfaction from ruining peoples days. They will cheat and lie to issue a false ticket...i know ive had them and had them quashed!!!

You are mistaken....they are scum, they do nothing for society, they do none of what you mentioned above!!

yes i agree if the council gets complaints from residents you can find a area being patrolled that is normally left alone after say 6pm. yes i know how people get annoyed i have faced very highrate people who say they have always parked in acertain spot between 6pm and 8am. the wardens can be sent to issue to a area like this and are stuck in the middle of a situation that should not be allowed to arise without prior notice to the public.

You can park on some double yellow lines. Then there is confusion, then there is a ticket then there is abuse.

people should always read there highway code especcaly those with disabled badges to make sure they are fully aware of where they can and cant park it will save them a lot of stress disputing a ticket in which they believe ther were in the right. sorry to go on here but traffice wardens have a very bad image in the eyes of the public no one likes to get a fine and no one likes to be told there in the wrong in front of other members of the public. dyl means double yellow lines.

i would honestly like to see a non traffic warden week over the whole country or selected areas just to prove there a what needed source these people are but unfortunatlly deaths outside schools etc would rise this i have no doubt. yes we hate them but they are a nessasary evil in todays society where peopl park as close to where ever there going as possible and screw everybody else.

power but as in any job this may happen. if ever you get a ticket always appeal this not only gives you a chance of getting off the ticket but gives you a chance to tell the council of the wardens attitude so if it happens again he may be spoken to. for those that are careless with there driving and not wreck less they should be given a warning and a ticket issued on the second occasion, Everybody that drives knows you cant park on dyl in most places outside london you get aleast 3 mins
