However I will add that I have been so moved to be a bit proactive from time to time over the last few years. It was fun to just meet people in Five Points a few years ago. Five Points is the college hangout near the University in Columbia. I had fun asking them if they believed in the ten commandments and what they thought about it. I was grateful for the honest and inciteful comments that I got from several kids there (actually young men but I guess I'm feeling kinda old).

No need. Like I had alluded to before; I'm not an "evangelical". So I don't go running around pounding people's doors trying to convince them of something they don't have any inclination to want to know in the first place.
But I'm also not a "secret Christian" either. ... I'll answer questions if you or anyone has them, I'll point you to something if you are interested. If not then God is fully capable of handling the day to day lives of everyone involved :-)

Actually you have outside sources from Tacitus in addition to Pliny and Suetonius that add additional validity to what has been collected together by the Jews and the "Christians" into one big collection of books that most people call "the bible".
Once again , there are more evidences that point to the reliability of these books than there are regarding just about any other historical figure that we might be able to research.

And that is a really good train of thought. However we have fewer than twenty copies (and not the originals) from some of the most respected names in history. ... Do a Google Images search on the words "Copy of NT Historical Doc Comparisons" which will bring up a 'very' interested chart of how many copies we have of so many important historical works.

There area a handful of reasons why someone might not be not sure about what Jeus taught. I've found a couple of the most common ones are from people that make it 'way' too complicated because they are afraid to swallow the "tough stuff". ... Jesus said and did a lot of stuff that was REALLY hard to swallow.
The other common crowd are the ones that follow what some "pastor" or "teacher" says instead of really digging into scriptures on their own to check this out.
Those who want to believe the bible is truth: Look for the meaning of the word

Could be; I won't discount that as a possibility for many, I can only speak regarding my own personal experience. I could say the same thing for people that believe in any number of things; UFOs, New World Order, the reevaluation of the price of the Dinar; or any number of things.
It's a challenge for each of us to look hard & honestly at the evidences that we find and face whatever we find within ourselves that might stagnate that (or accelerate it in the wrong direction) :-)

blah blah blah; just look at the stuff I gave you ... And if you have any questions specifically about the google and google image searches that I gave you I'll be happy to answer them :-)
If I had the sort of spare time I had when I was single I might consider doing more of "the work" for you. However, with a wife, three children, and living in a third world country where things are a bit more difficult I just can't "do it all". Thanks for understanding :-)
