This is part 4 of a series of instructional videos to help you get started in Astrophotography. In this video I discuss mono and color CCD astro cameras. The Starshoot III and Starshoot Pro are compared and priced. We also decide if you select the Starshoot III you will not need the TRF-2008. For light pollution we'll use Narrowband filters.

You can start for as little as you want. All I'm doing is outlining a path that will produce quality astrophotos. For $150 you'll be limited to planetary imaging. Please check out my new video series "Planetary Imaging & Processing". Thanks for posting your comments and suggestions.

Yes, you can do a budget AP setup for Planetary imaging, and be under $500. Thanks for the encouragement! And thanks for watching!

@Dugdog thanks for posting all these great videos I've watched all them and found them very helpful, I'm new to this hobby and I recently purchased a Celestron CG5, a Skywatcher 80mm apo with an Orion autoguider now I'm looking to get a CCD Camera and I decided to get a Monochrome, now Im debating on which one, I was looking at these two the Orion Starshoot G3 and the DMK 21AU04, which one might be a better choice?
