Cutting on iPhones

Here are some cuts I did the first night i hooked up Tonetable and Torq.

The iPhone / iPod seems pretty responsive, and the NanoPad is perfect for imitating a transformer switch or hard edged crossfader. A little setup of the NanoPad had to be done with the Korg editor, but nothing fancy.

I cant wait to spend some more time with my new DJ rig - friday afternoons will never be the same again :)

Nice video.If you have a dj mixer you can prob. transform that way too.

Thanks .. yeah you can definitely use a regular mixer for transforming, fading, mixing - however what i am going for in this setup is portability. I travel a lot, and i always bring my MicroKorgs .. and just by packing the Connectiv too, i have a complete DJ platform in my bag :)

how are you using a pad as a crossfader? wouldnt you be better using the XY pad or one of the faders on the kontrol?

I must admit, I had very low expectations, and while I can tell the responsiveness is less than that of a turntable it is good to see you could make the most of it.

@MEKON17 It's just annoying as hell to hear those horrible off beat transforms. I check out a few vids on you tube from time to time and I express my opinion, so how about YOU quit whining about my whining?? TOO MANY HALF-ASS DJ's in the world bringing the culture down. It's cool it only makes me look better. Good day all.
