Meet Koala Rose

This is Rose, a 6 month old koala joey weighing 400+ grams. She emerged fully from her mum, Gumnut's pouch, on Sunday 28th October 2007. She is very inquisitive and happy to take in her surroundings.

They are so sweet I am so sorry about all the fires you have had and all the lost animals and birds. The people lost is a tradgedy . I am wondering when they are found are the Koala agressive? It doesn't look like it., I didn't think you could pick one up in the wild.

Koalas can be quite aggressive when they are frightened and you certainly wouldn't pick a wild one up unless you knew what you were doing.
