yeah, it really is a "classic Jack" moment and you wouldn't get that unless you followed the show. it may not be a show like Lost where you absolutely cannot miss a second, but it is different than Tosh.0 or Sunny in Philly, in that a lot of this humor is REALLY subtle and you have to know the characters to get it. I often find myself having to pause the show and wiki the references because some of these references that these slip into this show are pretty high brow fancypants humor.

well here's the thing, bud. your humor palette is FUCKED. i know this because your screen name is a reference to the South Park "Towely", who is admitted (by the creators or SP!) as being the worst character ever created. ever.

You don't get this because you've probably never watched the show. no, not like "seen" the show, but followed it and watched it diligently. They have a series of running jokes, Jack in a tux is at inappropriate times is one. You don't get it and you never will.

@towely08 Well actually the main reason that the joke is funny is because Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) spent the entire episode scrambling around doing things without his help (unsuccessfully might I add) because she thought he was busy that night. Turns out he wasn't busy; he is just really pretentious. The line about the farmers was being used to emphasize that. It wasn't random. It was hilarious.
