Gays ought to be miffed that a longstanding character had to be altered to make a gay hero.

Why insulted? Because they simply changed an existing character with longtime established name, instead of making an all-new gay character and have him stand on a basis of his individual merit. Basically riding on the coattails

Sort of like how they killed white heroes Blue Beetle, Firestorm and the Atom and gave their names to ethnic characters rather than making these guys new characters.

DC has been dead to me since its crappy "reboot" last year.

Its disgusting yet somehow funny they picked the Green Lantern Alan Scott. His power source is flaming and has a weakness for wood.

I used to look up to comic book heroes. I used to wish that kids would going to back to reading them and admiring the morals of comic book super heroes. Not anymore. I feel this was just a business move by DC Comics to get those fudge packers to buy their books.

They fight for your right to freedom of expression or whatever. That doesn't mean they have to agree with it. The thing I find most hypocritical about the homosexual activists is that you all preach, "tolerance, acceptance, etc., etc." and yet the first person that you meet that DOESN'T agree with the homosexual agenda (in other words, doesn't agree with you) is then ignorant and intolerant. How's that for hypocrisy?
