In this 1955 recording, British-born jazz pianist, composer, and writer Marian McPartland performs "For All We Know" composed in 1934 by J. Fred Coots and Sam Lewis. McPartland is joined by Joe Morello (drums), Bill Crow (bass), Lucien Schmit (cello) and Betty Glamann (harp). I created this music video from the LP shown above, issued in 1956 on the Capitol label, serial number T 699. This performance was recorded in New York city in October, 1955.
