  • That was 100% class; not a word spoken - what truer reverence could there be! Thanks very much

  • Yes sir! The nicest saloon car ever. They sure don't make cars like that anymore ...

  • @SpeedTriple59 like wise, wish had the money to buy one now. as you many a happy journey.

  • Yes, thank you. Not a word spoken. One who understands.

MY 1st car was a 66.. Restored it. BRG with leather bonnet straps and chrome headlight screens, wires. What memories.

Went to highschool in the 1990s. Had off camps lunch, packed all my friends to go w "Mr. Jaguar". Gas gauge ddnt work "oh I have plenty". Ran out and ran door to door w plastic bottle. Made it back just in time. I miss I would have failed.

Every car since a Jaguar. XJ6, XJS, MkIV, VII, II, 3.8s, E type

    In the blood.

  • im surprised that you can find a perfectly maintained one for less than 15k. the most expensive i have found was in UK for 18.000 pounds and that was the one with the biggest engine.

  • I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old DOHC Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and tank clean and rustfree

  • beautifull... looks stunning when it's running.

I've driven the 340 model lately. an experience to remember!

  • Awesome car i was very fortunate to spend many car journeys in one of these cars as a boy.The smell of the leather, wood, the snarl of the engine, sweet car, always wondered if a bank job had been done in my relatives..Thank you for post,no music just engine music..

  • che bella macchina......e che belle strade deserte!

  • I agree, NO stupid music, NO babbling on and

last but no least no gay powerbraking "burnout". Pure car goodness.

    5 stars :)
