This was an interesting walk through the underground city in Edinburgh. Sadly my video battery died on me while I was down there, but I still got a bit. This was done about two hours before leaving the great land of Alba. There are other tours that take one to different parts of the underground and hope to be able to see them some day too.

  • absolutely ridiculous. I used to practice with a band down there when it was all practice rooms 20 years ago. its certainly wasnt very pleasant but i cant agree with this form of tourist nonsense, absolutely nothing happened down there in the four years i was there. If you want to be as gullible as a child then good luck. Sorry if you think this is mean, its the truth. Thanks for putting this video up, its good to see it again. The Vaults were always known about, dont believe this woman.

  • @cullyvan Well, it's just a tour of this vault area. I don't believe the ghost stories, but I can't help but enjoy a good ghost story when I hear one. Perhaps the darkness helps to creep some people out, especially the children.

  • @Olentzaro Fair enough and sorry for being mean, hope you enjoyed yourself. Clearly I dont believe in ghosts either, it's just that its very strange to see your old band practice room on a supernatural tour. Its Surreal and its not quite right. All the best.

  • @cullyvan So were you with one of the companies that owned the buildings above the vaults we went through? They told us about some of those.

  • i can hear a childs voice approx 3.33 min into the tour also at 6.37,can someone tell me if infints are allowed on theses tours and was there one on this tour,if not who or what was speaking

  • @belindakennedy Yes, there were at least two children on the tour. The guide never said anything about not letting children down there, so they came.

  • Have some difficulty understanding this persons accent? don't think she is a Scot.

  • @stuart8496 The vaults were never streets they were always burried as they are vaults, as in vaulted rooms built between 1785-88 and were built as storage! but yes, you are right there is no city under Edinburgh :)

  • @Olentzaro Nope, we just rented a room, there was quite a few. some of the bigger rooms were used as a nightclub as well, in Blair Street on the other side there was more practice rooms which were in even worse states, there was also a "sauna" (a brothel) in one of the vaults. This is only about 14 years ago!

  • Yes, there was at least two children on this tour. The tour guide did not say anything about it to the parents, so they brought their children along.
