I totally want to spar you guys at GenCon this year. Julia, you need a shield. Bring your mace and I'll be happy to lend you one so you guys can have a rematch. Also, headshots are illegal in nearly all boffer groups, and in many, the person who commits the headshot automatically dies. So, Josh, you totally lost that one. =P

I really don't think that maces are made to be double handed weapons. The advantage of a two handed weapon is typically reach, strength, and control. A mace is made for speed, close combat, and honestly I'd think going a bit wild. Perhaps not as wild as a flail but still. A suggestion: don't hide behind your weapon. Also, two handed weapons aren't baseball bats. You lose so much ability when you're hands are within 6 inches of eachother.
