  • lt's not just jazz. Playing out in live club situation affects all styles of musicians. Sometimes once the drinking starts..... "the Beast" can creep in. Play on, the fruit of love be music !

  • Hehe, funny. I say, let jazz live and thrive, don't let fools ruin the show

Nah, had the same experience in Scotland playing a jazz gig. A drunk was trying to pry the microphone off the stand where it was taped so he could talk or sing, I don't know what. Resulted in he and I kind of shoving each other and grappling for the mic. I told the pub staff and they got him to stop by threatening to throw him out.

  • Story of my life, man.

  • Brilliant, so true !

  • Ouch!!! Sad but true.
