This Video was done before I surrender the camera back to the previous company that I had worked for.

My purpose is to share with fellow guitarist that sometime it is better to play guitar using simple chords and styles instead of trying something beyond their reach. It is both distracting and disrupting when one attack the guitar using excessive force. My point is - set your foundation in guitar playing right before you hastily set off to play certain style of music.

Learn to play guitar one step at a time. Do not just copy off wholesale from the CD. Play the song exactly the way you want it. When you do that, the song will sound special - even when it may sound near to what you hear from the CD.

Sorry for the poor sound and video editing......I took sometimes to understand the rendering option in Sonvy Vegas 9.

  • I will update the anotation when I have the time. Again, sorry for the slow updates.

  • Actually this video was made about 2 months back before I return the camera. I have been saving it for the "cold period" lol. Sorry guys, it will be sometimes before I buy a camera.

Anyway the chords used are barred chords.

E-G#m7-F#m7-B7 [note : I took out my little finger when playing B7 barred chord] (Opt : u can end with a B7sus then B7 one beat each)

  • very awesome vid my brother! great to hear you playing. what is that chord progression you're playing. Am? G#, G, F#? What is it that you're doing w/ your ring finger. It's the only finger I see playing, unlike a regular barre chord. Is that a 7th or sus chord. Very nice and subtle playing. Love it

  • Hey Fed, It's great to hear you play again. I pray you get a camera soon as you help people alot.

I agree fully with you, keeping it simple and basic is best in a worship situation. I have found when leading worship, that trying to be to technical and fancy, you tend to make mistakes and in turn spoil worship for everybody.

also remembering, when watching these professionals on stage, They are usaully playing with a band, so when they make a mistake you don't really pick it up. God Bless
