Umbrella Beach has no meaning to the real world what-so-ever so im not sure what hes trying to get at with that one either. Finally, The Real World, which is the only song in there has has little lyrical meaning. I think you are the one that needs to listen more.

Oh wow you are terribly confused. I took the time out of my day to listen to each one of these songs and this is what i found: Vanilla Twilight and Honey and the Bee are both about the same thing; a girl, just like most songs terrible musicians write about. As for Galaxies, i have no fucking idea what hes trying to say with that, it just sounds like a bunch of words mixed together to me.

adam young (owl city) does not sound like a thirteen year old girl that's just an overused insult, that isn't even true. Adam also does make songs whereby the lyrics are very powerful. Yes, I admit the new album hasn't really showcased that but in all the other albums the case is that the lyrics actually mean something. Also, not all owl city fans are 13 year old girls. get your facts right before you begin to argue.

I am appalled that anyone would put The Postal Service in the same category as Owl City let's now compare Metallica to Justin Bieber. My points 1.) This lead singers voice is incredible, while Owl City's sounds that of a 13 year old girl, and 2.) The postal service's lyrics are extremely intelligent, while Owl City's are that of a 13 year old girls'.
