Funny how this guy tries to explain to the best of his knowledge what happened in the past... None of us know for certain what really happened that is true so I will only rely on the few pieces of evidence that have been left from the people that really lived on those troubled times... like Frederick Douglass and his 1852 speech on the 4th of July celebration... After that testimony any kind of excuses just won't do...
