Dance per se is the essential element in the video artwork "As Dance". Konstantin Lipatov uses various filmic means to experiment with a predetermined dance phrase, thereby discovering new expressive forms in the movement sequence. The technical effect creates an astonishingly unique choreography which would have been impossible to execute in the imagination alone.
