The "benefit" of government spending must come from the detriment of extracting it from the private sector, the detriment of more enslavement of debt and its interest payments, and/or the detriment of destroying the value of money held through inflation PLUS the detriment of the malinvestment of the spending back into the private sector bundled with destruction of incentive and enabling of dependency. Meaning, there is NO net benefit to an economy by "government spending." Period.

Of all the financial reporters, Santelli possesses the worst cohesive thought stream. He jumps from one fact in Brazil to another in Germany, and a third in the Middle East, and a fourth in China, while being asked about a whale phenomena in Anchorage. Santelli, there is no correlation neither in subject nor in causality. He is like a broken browser jumbling news' sites, or bringing a "stick from every terrestrial valley to build a cottage in lake Laugai"

Government isn't the solution: government causes the problems...the government is best, which governs least-Thomas Jefferson. Better to take advice from Jefferson, Franklin,Patrick Henry and Ludwig von Mises, Friedrich Hayek, Milton Friedman and Thomas Sowell than the talking heads on the main stream media and the mostly bought and paid for politicians, and the banks and corporations which own them
