This is a review of the 3x3x4 puzzle. I show how it turns, mention the looseness of the puzzle, and give a size comparison to a Rubik's 3x3x3 cube.

  • nice.. i was wondering.. ok your not much of a cuber(solver).. more of a collector.. do you ever loob any of your cubes? jig-a-loo is a good brand can be found at ace hardware... and some walmarts...

  • I bought a can of Jig-a-Loo recently, and it looks like I'm going to have to use it on my gigaminx. That puzzle is almost non-usable in its current form.

  • I wish all the reviews would make clear that aside from the fact that similar notation can be used to write algorithms for this device, the 3x3x4 has absolutely nothing to do with the original Rubik's cube, or the 4x4x4 or larger cubes. None of the strategies/algorithms for solving those cubes help at all. This puzzle is an infuriating beast. It's a well-made product but it's delivered a crushing blow to my ego.

  • mine always came out of allignment. How do i fix?

  • blizzard :) are you playing WOW??

  • @blizzardkb if you dont start turning your gigaminx (or any puzzle for that matter) right after you put jigaloo in your puzzle, the plastic will slowly start to dissolve. And if you put too much jigaloo in it will do the same. (this is all that i heard for about 20-30 different cubers). I use CRC all purpose heavy duty silicon spray. I haven't heard any problems that are similar to what jigaloo might have.

  • i was hopeing shape-shift : (

  • lube

  • tip. if you loob and work it in for a minute it will be so nice... but after leaving it sit for like 6 hours after that it will have a limit of how fast it can go what i do in my 3x3s is i put in 3-4 sprays and watch a movie or 2 wile mindlessly scrambling it for about an hour or2.. and it stays as smooth as it was when it was sprayed.. although i need to do like 2 sprays every like 2-3 weeks.. cuz how much i solve it.. i dont have a gigaminx so im not sure how smooth you could get it goodluck
