  • @rsafuto thanks for the reply. if i understand you correctly then the module may not be what i am looking for. i would like to count the number of completed cck fields matched to terms in a taxonomy. so say if i have a field called "dog" every time it is completed and submitted, the count for "dog" in taxonomy would increase by one. i would display the counts using the taxonomy menu module. do you have any suggestions on how i can achieve this? i only want to count unique entries per field too

  • @kumquatsta With this module you assign a vocabulary to the content field when you add it to a node. So the field will then offer you the choices from that vocabulary. Once the field is created then you have the option of writing new categories back to the core taxonomy tables or not on a per field basis.

  • @rsafuto thanks for the suggestion, i have looked into the module. just curious, does this module only work in one direction cck>taxonomy and not taxonomy>cck?

  • @kumquatsta Try the Content Taxonomy module.

  • is it possible to add cck form fields to a taxonomy?

  • I like your sound, but if you allow me to offer one bit of constructive criticism about this video: you don't clearly show us what it looks like when you are working with pages, stories, etc. I don't see the integration here.

It could be cool if you could show us how to implement the taxonomy and then what it looks like when editing content. For example, if you check the vocabulary that something is required, then show us that the asterisk appears.
