I just downloaded GIMP and I found the video easy to follow, but I had trouble trying to insert the guide lines. I was unable to see what you clicked on to get the guide lines on every side. I am not familiar with creating business cards with photo software so can you please help me understand. Thank you

@swtcinnamon37 hello. Ill be honest that gimp or any photo program is the worst for making a print layout in, the only advantage is you have more freedom to make things pretty. Inkscape or Scribus would be a much better alternative. But for the rulers i believe its in the menus on top under view then rulers. the photoshop command to pull up rulers is ctrl+r. sorry dont have gimp in front of me at the moment, but once the rulers are there you can drag guides from them

i could. ill try and make one by this weekend. but first off, inkscape will probably be an easier program for it as you have more text and drawing freedoms.

on a side note of everything, found out gimp can open pdf and convert them to bitmap. needles to say was a life saver, not having P$ to do this with
