Big Boy Locomotive 3D Animation

This was my final assesment for an animation subject at the University of Queensland. It is a Big Boy Locomotive (arguably the biggest of all time) which used to operate on the Union Pacific railway line.
The soundtrack is 'Reload' by Rob Zombie.

Haha, I see what you did with the Eccentric rod. (The part you see at 0:20 that slide back and forth without doing anything above the 2nd drive wheel)
How did you get the main Piston to go back and forth? is it a Sine controller?

I live five minutes from the actual one you modeled. I think your is better though. Ours really needs new paint.(it is almost blue from crappy paint!)

cheers mate.
modeling/animation was done in 3DSMax. Textures in Photoshop (of course). Whole thing took 2 months.

if you would read the info on the video, you would see that the music is by Rob Zombie and that it is not a game.
