@gmcomc And don't underestimate how much fitness is required, especially whilst training. Top to bottoms up a steep hill can be a killah.

Hi, weight shouldn't be a problem as long as you are fit enough to undertake the training. If you are fit enough then there should be a wing out there for you. Best Check with an instructor. Good luck if you go ahead.

Sorry to be a party pooper, but you have no idea how lucky Michael is.
Doing maneuvers at low altitude with high winds by a beginner?! Scary stuff!! Did you see how his wing was not penetrating towards the end of the vid?. I'm glad that nothing happened and I hope Michael is progressing in this beautiful sport. Just don't take any unnecessary chances, Remember each pilot has two pockets (an experience pocket and a luck pocket) try to fill the first and never run out of the latter. Blue skies!

A pleasent comment, Only reason the wing wouldn't go forwrd was because he kept applying the brakes, an easy beginners mistake when things go wrong. Michael has been flying safely for some time now and still enjoying the sport. Cheers
