On Saturday, February 19th, over 3,000 people met at the Waterfront and walked over to Pioneer Square in downtown Portland to participate in the PDX Flash Mob. They set their alarms to 5:25 when the FREEZE starts and then 5:30 when the FREEZE stops. Many of you may be familiar with Improv Everywhere and the improv they cast in New York City. More specifically, the famous Frozen Grand Central which contained several hundred people participated in an event similar to this one. The only difference is this PDX Freeze contains over 3,000! This was a very fun event and shall not be the last!
