  • I have contacted the local TV, Radio stations and newspapers - they weren't interested. They acted as if this was an isolated incident. Made a formal complaint with the Medicaid Inspector General, they contacted the vendor and apologized to them on my behalf, said I complained to them out of love for my daughters. Contacted 2 advocacy groups, neither was a help. I will try our state reps, THANKS!

  • As a representative of Monroe Wheelchair we recognize your concerns. Monroe Wheelchair has made numerous attempts to reach a resolution on this matter with you, the insurers involved, and your daughter’s therapists. In addition, over the last 9 months we have left several voice mails for you to contact us in our ongoing commitment to reach a resolution. None of those phone calls have been returned by you. • Try Better Business Bureau; they are not very powerful, but they might be able to direct you with other resource. A complaint against a business will force the vendor to do something. I would keep calling who ever paid for the wheelchair and let them know the the equipment was not delivered, it is against the law to collect funding without delivery of products/services. Good Luck.

  • Have you contacted your state district representative and senators, state Medicaid director and your local legal aid office? Calling the phone directory list of local attorneys and churches for advocacy. A few numbers per day, and keep a logged record. Also contact your local TV news and radio stations. Best to you.
