Bashir's Pashmina

Bashir Butt and his family are friends that I like to stay with when I am in New Delhi. They are from Kashmir and they export Kasmiri Pashmina from their New Delhi home all over the world. The handiwork is remarkable, especially the fine hand embroidery which is found on wool blankets and bedspreads as well as on the pashmina shawls and stoles. In addition the pashmina comes in a variety of patterns with the colors woven into the shawl, not died in. You will see these in some of the still shots dropped into the video. This is just a cell phone video so don't mind the quality, but it will give you some idea. Note: I have marked the exact location of the house on the Youtube map.

Very interesting display of high quality fabrics not made anywhere else except Kashmir. You really need to see and especially to feel Pashmina to appreciate it's uniqueness. Thanks for posting it
