Crash on Hwy 401 near Guelph shown on CP24. The truck was carrying about 30 tonnes of sand when it lost control and crashed through the guardrail, dumping its load across the highway at about 8 a.m.

A CP24 viewer captured the crash on their dashboard camera.

No serious injuries were reported in the crash, although several other vehicles were involved.

  • @hanksnow82 ..I heard that this guy...says he should not be charged as it was weather related and driving conditions were poor...LMFAO..the only way you'd ever get a rig too break free from traction is ice and too much throttle...sure conditions did the job..the driver did not...He deserves it and more.

    And I bet having his hands in the 10-2 position and checking his mirrors before he swerved to the right helped too. It wouldnt have any thing to do with it being a natural reaction to steer away from a massive pile of disintegrating debris coming at him on the left. :P
