I think melia is better than most people think! first i didn't like her dancing but i gonna like her more and more:) for some people technique is most important thing, but for me it's a combination of technique and telling a story with your heart. that's why i like them very much!

she clearly has technique, she is considered one of the best dancers in the world, that just doesnt happen for no good reason

@nathalie481: BTW, Melia is a wonderful dancer. She just been paired with the wrong guys. When she finds the right guy she will blossom like a seed that in the spring becomes a rose.

@nathalie481: I agree and know what you mean. It's the basics I was taught when I first started dancing. Ballroom dancing is a "partnership" where the man is the frame (leader) and the woman the picture (focus of dance not just follower). The man, regardless of his level versus the woman, provides the frame in which the partnership functions. When my lady shines I know we did well, she lets me know otherwise :). Happy woman makes for a long happy partnership and wonderful dancing.

Again, her stops "and now what" ... Her hands are very often happen to be somewhere but for no apperant reason ... Too basic-based ... and they still flop somehow ... I cant understand!!!! And it is not just easy to critic ... I mean, there are enough talented dancers that we dont need to make such compromises ..

He is a great dancer no doubt, but he needs to tone down to make the couple rise higher and stronger....it's hard to explain what I mean....but it would be more beautiful if he would tone down instead of standing out so much in comparison to her....But all said, it's easy to critic...but alot harder to perform....I admire them both very much...Best of luck to them...

@nathalie481 he doesnt have an option .. lol .. he clearly is the far superior dance. yes , u would wanna highlight your lady but in a competition you need to put the best to the foreground .. hence, he is the one that dances while she shakes in her place !!!

it happens when there is politics !!!! she is NOT a good dancer at all !!! I mean she is ok but cmon , at this level ??? u gotta be kidding me !!! its just sad that Sergey is having to dance with her. With another partner he could have been at the top.

For having been a dancer ....this young man has alot to learn.. He seems very good...but in reality he's trying to steal the show! Really!! ?? As an old dancer! please my man.... get the woman to shine ...that's your role........and you will become a star......

they bought me with this routine and since then I'm their huge fan ... probablly the best rumba routine ever and definitely best man-women relationship ...
