I had a cast on my arm, which I removed. I had my toes taped for the performance.

There is nothing wrong with my footwear. And if welencier05 knew anything at all about Lindy Hop, he would know that no one does it in heels.

Also, my husband likes those shoes, and he is the only one I aimed to please with my clothing at my wedding.

Aww, I can tell you guys worked hard to practice that! Some brides (here in NY)throw tons of money into tiara's and smoke machine's etc.. but you guys worked hard together as a couple to pull that off. This video is a perfect example of a great couple working together as one. That's what it's all about!!!!! The bride looked stunning, the groom dances really well and is very lucky and blessed to have her. My hat goes off to you guys! Congrats!

Some spell it this way, I think the original version is Bei Mir Bistu Shein, or even Bay mir bistu sheyn (it was a Yiddish song originally). There are many versions of it, this one is from Janis Siegel I think.

I heard it first in the movie Swing kids and I fall in love with it, it is one of my favorites. Btw, I recommend this movie to anyone who likes this music and dance.

Congrats, this was great! I love that the bride chose an outfit in which she can dance, I always thought that doing what you enjoy is more important than following some stupid tradition. I am sure you also enjoyed the wedding preparations more this way, it must have been so much fun to work together on your routine. The song choice is excellent and you look very cute together. This is what a wedding should be about, two people being happy, enjoying what they are doing together!

This dance is the inspiration for my and my fiance's wedding dance (I first saw this about 4 or 5 years ago). How long did it take you guys to learn this routine? I have three months before our day and am wondering if we can pull it off.
