@alananicole55 Reputable breeders care about where their puppies go. They want to be an active part in finding that pup So no, they wouldn't give their puppies to pet stores to sell to people. Therefore, no, Petland Canada is NOT a good place and the breeders who sell their puppies to you are NOT reputable.

I worked 3 days for Pets Unlimited and after being lied to about where the puppies came from I quit and have been boycotting them here in Nova Scotia. Peeple should never ever buy a puppy or a kitty from a pet store! Only from animal rescue shelters. Shame on these businesses who do that, all for the sake of saving a buck! I hope they all rot in hell, alone with the owners of puppy mills

I bought my yorkie Roodey from there and he had kennel cough and he barks and bits when you leave

This is terrible. These poor animals deserve homes that actually care about them. And guess what? When kids get bunnies for easter, kitties and puppies for christmas, usually the parents get sick of the animal and bring it to a 'shelter'. 90% of the animals die.... This is just terrible.
And-- 20 DISLIKES! REALLY! I highly encourage you to share this video with family and friends, and give this video a thumbs up. LETS MAKE AN AMIMAL CRUELTY-FREE WORLD!!

We bought our dog at Petland. When we got her home. She was very sick puppy. My mom had to hand feed her. Until she ate on her own. Now, she's 5 years old. Loves her mommy. (Me) Her name is Leia. The store, we got her at. Is now closed like two years ago. We didn't know at the time. We learn the hard way. But, We're happy to have her. She's a Scnoodle. (She looks more like mini schnauzer) That's what the pet employee told us. When, they let us see her in those cubic room. (That has opening.)

@vivienleigh1097 The difference between a shelter and a pet store is that if you rescue from a shelter, you are not encouraging bad breeding habits. When you "save" these puppies from a pet store, you give them a lot of money, & free up space for a new puppy to be bred in these conditions. You are encouraging them to breed these dogs which are not OFA or CERF certified, have no temperament guarantee & are typically unhealthy.
Go to a shelter or an ethical breeder. no puppy mill and pet stores.
petland cares is bullshit
