EXCELLANT VERSION OF THIS 1931 TUNE FEATURED IN THE FILM "CHANCE OF A NIGHTIME",CLIPS OF WHICH ARE ON HERE AND THE TUNE IN THE FILM IS SUNG BY AL BOWLEY.THIS HAS THAT SAME STRONG RHYTHM THAT MAKES COTTONS BAND AT THIS TIME SO FINE AND SUCH A GREAT VOCAL FROM CYRIL GRANTHAM.I THOUGHT I HAD UPLOADED THIS AGES AGO AS ITS A FAVOURITE OF MINE.

  • mic33 this is bizzare. I always say- - -leave the rest to nature. love your machine to.

  • and do you know Fred,i feel so used to you now-bizarre indeed!

  • Lovely vocal by Cyril Grantham, he was living in a nursing home in the Whitstable area up to around 2 years ago wonder if he's still around? was 97 then! Thanks for posting! Brian

  • Its good to hear others who appreciate this stuff, and i would love to think Cyril may still be about.I think he was fantastic and deserves to be remembered just as much as other better known dance band singers of the time.

  • You are so lucky to have a copy of this! I was familiar with the Roy Fox version, but I must say the Cotton is in a class of its own. Thanks for putting this my way.
