  • Even though we all home brew, we still love to watch other home brews! If we can't be brewing, we can live vicariously through other who are brewing!!

    Cheers and welcome to HBW!!

  • @MaximAvs yea, next year when I'm on the trail hiking 2180 miles, i'm going to be living vicariously thru all you guys. hate to take a 6 month break from brewing, but the adventure will be worth it!

  • I swear I could smell those grains as you mashed in... that was weird! Great brewing video, welcome to HBW!

  • @arrogantbastardale man, it smelled great. can't wait to get a taste

  • @hattrick364 very nice. really looking forward to seeing this one being consumed

  • @glitch777 yea, i had the lid on for the whole chill except when i was whirlpooling and when i shot the video. recipe should be pretty good. since i added the s-04 fermentation has been going like crazy. i'll shoot an update when i put it in secondary and add the vanilla beans.

  • right on man. thx for the shout out. i like the looks of that recipe. when i first looked at it i thought it was a porter. it would probably be a good idea to have the lid partially on when using the immersion chiller. when it gets to lower temps it could be vulnerable to outside bacteria. just an opinion though. i can't wait to see how this one comes out. the recipe sounds awesome!

  • That's a good looking recipe.

    Happy Homebrew Wednesday.
