@theStiggler nah, the cops weren't that bad. I was buying "buck-a-beer" Budweiser off some guy pulling a little red wagon behind him, spent all three nights crashed in Bushnell Park and passed out the first afternoon in the tent because someone gave me some high-quality shit that just put me in a coma. All three of the '88 shows were awesome and I'll never forget the good time I had at them.
@vealemincee Yeah dude, I truly thought I had lost my ticket, and I was screaming "Oh, Fuck" right in front of a couple of cops stationed in front of the arena. They both started to break my balls and mock me, and I almost forgot I had two tabs on my tongue. Glad I didn't get mouthy! I remember still tripping in homeroom the next morning.
My one and only, Easter Sunday '88. One of the big fuck ups in my life, not seeing at least a few more up through '95, but I appreciate them more now than when I was 16. Phish was still playing campus pubs at this point (ha,ha).
I ate THE biggest handful of 'shrooms before this show, and basically peaked from that wild Cassidy all the way through Fantasy/jude... always love listening to the tapes of this night, as there was so much energy. Despite Jerry's voice being shot, he didn't just hand the show over to Bobby, and played twice as hard to make up for it. The end of Stella was like a nuclear reaction... Need more clips, please!
Also in attendance, they did like to play this tune in Hartford. Heard a few over the years, this one has a pretty good jam in it. By no means the greatest show I've ever seen, probably would give that to Meadowlands 11-10-85.

+1 on attending the 87/88 shows. 87 was much more copesetic. In 88 the cops came down hard on partying in Bushnell Park. Those were the days :).

I was at this show too. They loved to play this song in Hartford for some reason.
