Edward Burtynsky is a Canadian photographer who takes pictures of landscapes. But not trees, and lakes. He takes pictures of industrial sites and factories.

His work was featured in an amazing documentary called 'Manufactured Landscapes.' It won best Canadian feature film at the Toronto international film fest.

  • AS a pilot of sorts I have flown threw air space in China and it is very dirty. In many places in Chinese air space its like a thin layer of goo floating. It just hangs there. And now theres many places there your no longer allowed to fly threw due to the extremely poor air quality. Its actually dangerous to the Jets. I have flown in many places in the world and thats something I have never ran into before.

  • great example of human destruction, now to stop it...

  • The UK has been privatising it's water supply off, major shares are now owned by China.

Are you mad? What China does in raping its environment has a significant impact on the rest of the world! The Earth is a closed system. Did you not hear that 20% of the mercury in Canadian soil comes from Chinese coal? Why wouldn't North America, South America, Europe, Asia have a legitimate say in what they do? It has nothing to do with something so trivial as competition and "supremacy of the West."

  • FUCK THIS VIA RAIL COMMERCIAL
