@jksonny I met Katie Couric at a book signing, and I actually got up the nerve to ask her did her and Bryant Gumbel really not get along? She told me, "No, we really did like working together." She said they had their differences but it wasn't all bad.

@anchorman87 Well, with some things, that could be possible. But with Bryant taking Tom's place, I don't think so. Of course I wasn't aware of their names back then though. I have pointed out memories to my mom, like the time the car broke down at night, and she says,"You were only 2!" So, do have legit early memories.

I must have switched dimensions or something. I swear Matt Lauer took over a few years sooner. '97?! Crazy. Oh, well. I remember when when Bryant took Tom's place and moments ago just found out I was only 2 years old when it happened.
