Shooting on post leaves one teen dead

The atmosphere went from joy to a nightmare in a split second at a party on Fort Richardson. A 13-year-old boy was shot to death.
The question that is being asked is: did the gun go off intentionally? That's what military investigators and Anchorage police are trying to figure out.

Here's what is known so far:

Thirteen-year-old Elijah Harrison was one of several kids at a birthday party at a home on post. Then around 8 p.m. Sunday night a gun went off. Harrison was hit and died at the Joint Medical Hospital at Elmendorf Air Force Base.

That's pretty much all police are saying right now. Anchorage police are helping the military investigate under an agreement that's been in place for years.
