Wild siberian tigers weigh up to 900 pounds ?

905lb tigress is skinny?! even males rarely get to that size, female Bengals weigh around 350lbs in healthy condition.

It is a captive Bengal tigress, and I didn`t mean to say the female was skinny, I meant to say that the male was, my bad for not making that clear.

I can see why, a wild tiger is fighting fit, he burns off more calories searching for food, in a zoo they just get fed regularly.

I can believe a Bengal weighing that much, there is one in Leeds museum thats bigger than any modern Bengal I've ever seen and that was shot 100 years ago,

not really , all modern studies indicate that tigers sleep aboput 19-20 hours a day , they don´t walk 20 miles a day and also don`t hunt that much, like some biased people here say . By the way the tiger which I mentioned in the video was gorged , and weighed probably about 700 pounds.

Not true. The largest wild siberian tiger was 847 pounds. That was many,many years ago when the tiger population was
much healthier. Captive tigers don't count.
Human beings can weigh over 1000 pounds. So 13 feet long and 900 pounds
is a pipedream.
