  • Thy for uploading.I have a real problem with movies like this b/c there are alot of very narrow minded people that will base ALL muslims from this movie,it's simply not true.Muslims are no different from everyday people or society, there is good and bad in all religions, socities, and families.

  • @OneSmartKitty

Ok. How about the majority of muslims in Iran?

  • what is that awful noise the women are making at the beginning of the airport scene? They sound like indians! LOl

  • @OneSmartKitty WRONG! Muslims are not like us in any was whatsoever. They treat their women badly, they have no rights. If the husband is beating up his wife and children she can't leave him. Only he can say so. So, before you think that they are the same think again. They worship there false god Mahamid and they just believe that Jesus was just another prophet that worked under Mahamid. Wrong again! And they have to pray 5 times a day facing the holy city of Mecca. MUSLIMS ARE NOT THE SAME!

  • @heartofgold1989 I still need to read it! =]

  • @MiCHAELJLYSSAPAC the book it is based on is even better. but I love this movie too.

  • @GODFATHER4768 If the people of Iran did not know what they were in for when the revolution began, we can't expect a naive unsuspecting American housewife who trusts her husband to foresee what laid ahead. Her biggest mistake was trusting her husband, not having inadequate political awareness.

  • @23WhiteFlag they used to do similar acts but now they just rationalized their beliefs. All this talk about peace and love is just a rationalization of an irrational and savage belief system.

  • @DontForgetIran2010 be that as it may she still should have known that a radical and fundamental islamic state would be savage and barbaric. Islam has brought nothing but trouble to Iran.

  • @GODFATHER4768 as a fellow Iranian, I will have to sympathize with Betty on some grounds. At the time when she met her husband, there were much fewer Iranians in the US and fewer Muslims as well. She had no way of knowing how this relationship would go in the long run or that he would ever change. Many Iranian men have misled their women and taken their children and everything from them. The revolution only made things worse for women in Iran, especially in the early years.
