Jan Gautier, Rock/Creek's Newest Race Team Member

Jan Gautier, Rock/Creek's newest Race Team member, talks about trail racing. Jan teaches science at Baylor, a local Chattanooga school, and coaches runners there.

As a younger runner, Jan was 4 time AllAmerican in College and National Champion in the 3000. She had PR's of 34:30 for the 10K and 2:45 for the marathon. Jan qualified in 1999 for the Olympic Trials Marathon. As a Master's runner, she's run 38 minutes for the 10K, but has been running around 40 minutes lately.

Jan started trail running at the Rock/Creek River Gorge Race and has been a top finisher in many of the Rock/Creek Trail Series races over the last few years.
