Thank you for the title of the book. This is the last week of classes here in Mexico, we have Ester Celebration ( Semana Santa) is the way we call it here, So, as we say in Spanish, voy a descansar haciendo adobes, I am going to work on my first essay. Do you do the same in your country do you have a brake, vacations or something? Thank you again for all your help.

Well even though we do have a week off, Easter (or Holly week) is very rarely celebrated in the US and really miss that when living there.

Anyway, enjoy your week off and keep studying to pass the TKT.

Dear teacher Libardo: Today was the last class session in this month of ICELT course. This is going to be pretty busy, since I have to do a lot of essays, actually I have to learn how to do an essay, I have not done any in my life, even in Spanish. Our teacher gave me guidance on it, but I think this is a gift for some people, I mean it comes so natural, somehow, I have to learn so many formal vocabulary, since this is essential. What can you recomend me on this issue? Kinestesica

Dear Friend.

Even though I somehow agree on the issue that you may need a gift or some ability to write in a way that inspires people, I can tell you for sure that when it comes to academic writing it is just simple and pure mechanichs, I mean, when you write an academic essay the way you should start it, clarify the main points and give a conclusion is almost always the same, so get a good book about essays, (I have one) and just transfer the skills learned there to you essays.

You´re right, I might read a lot and sleep a few so I can cope with every project I am working on, but I want you to have clear that I will always have time for a person who wants to learn and improve what he/she is doing because everytime I do so I experience one of the most rewarding feelings I have experienced in my life and is the feeling of helping someone to have what he/she wants. so keep on working hard and always do your best.

well they take many things into consideration and one of them is the proficiency in English and Teaching experience, however the requirements for this certificate are not as hard as the requierements for CELTA. so go on and do your best, once earned the ICELT your job opportunities will increase a lot. and probably your salary too.

Thank you for your kind response. I am about to switch to ICELT. I just made the test in order to get in the ICELT course, I was accepted!. I am going to start to attentd the classes this Thursday 26. Our teacher said that probably we will finish in December 2009.

I have another question, what do they take in consederation in order to accept a student? to tell you the truth, I am doing my best while Im teaching , but I am not excellent in my English Skills. ( I would like to....) Thanks
