Love the idea of an electric start but to start a BSA with my right foot is like saddling up before riding a horse, something organic.
However I'd enjoy to have the option on a cold wintery day, avoiding my foot to slip of the kickstarter and grind my shin off!

@KTRmovieKTR I actually ride a B31 from 1949 everyday here in Paris, starts first time, everytime, but it might be complicated to set up a 12v system on a rigid......but wow! what a luxurious idea!

1949 B31 is good bike. Let's try a 12V !

@KTRmovieKTR I've found a BSA specialist in Holland that can convert the motor into a reliable 600cc with a 12v circuit and an ignition system concealed in the magdyno, this brings the power up to 45bhp! If I graft on an electric start aswel the bike will be transformed into a real everyday runner, which is my dream!
Maybe you can give me an idea of the price of and electric start system and some details on where it's fitted, primary chain side I presume?

@KEVERNEMAPP You can buy the electric starter kit in a site of Phil Pearson.
