Madonna Launches Clothing Line MG Icon

The original material girl is launching a clothing line. ClevverTV breaks down this big fashion launch!

Hi stylistas. I'm your host Joslyn Davis with scoop on how Madonna, the queen of vogue-ing, is reportedly planning to take on the world of fashion.

After being inspired by her own trend-setting daughter, Lourdes, who is 13 years old, and a total style maven, Madge is embarking upon a new fashion-forward-feat.

She, along with Lourdes' help, is creating MG Icon. Of course the MG stands for Material Girl, and we hear the line will be geared towards young women. MG will be hit Macy's stores in August, and will also include fabulous footwear and accessories. Beauty products and a fragrance are talked-about possibility in the future, as well.

Madonna is just the latest in a whole slew of celebrities and singers who have done clothing lines - JLo, Jessica Simpson and even Justin Timberlake, have been incredibly successful in the fashion world. And to be fair, we must note that Madonna first dove into the design world when she teamed up with H&M in 2007. Plus, there's no doubt that this lady is a total style-maker - always setting trends and never following them.
