That seems really slow. Mine is much quicker than that!
It is slightly newer though a Ph2 1998.
Who needs a turbo anyway!?!

The 1.9D 306 is 70BHP and 1100Kg.
So 130Kg.

@cmagennis927 Dont forget about the calorific values! the bore of the 1.5D is 77mm, which is the same as most 1.2 petrol cars. so a 1.5D and 1.2 petrol of the same age. Diesel will be faster accelerating but with a slightly lesser top speed. (since max BHP peak cannot be reached due to diesel burning so slow)
Don't be a petrol fanboy plz. also, please note that a Diesel Audi R10 won le mans races.

@MartinObviously ermmm Yes it does! You dont hear of a Diesel Ferrari or Lambo... And what I meant was petrols are far nippier when starting off, diesels are only faster once the turbos kick in, in this case your car doesnt have a turbo so thats why its so slow.
